By accessing this website or engaging LessLaplante Services ("LessLaplante," "we," "us," or "our") for HR consultancy, labour law compliance, payroll, or related advisory services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
LessLaplante Services provides HR consultancy and labour compliance advisory services, including but not limited to compliance audits, POSH Act advisory, payroll and statutory filing support, HR policy development, employee relations support, recruitment assistance, statutory register maintenance, and HR due diligence.
Descriptions of our services on this website are provided for general informational purposes. The specific scope, deliverables, and timelines for any engagement are set out separately in a signed engagement letter or service agreement between LessLaplante Services and the client.
Engagement with LessLaplante Services begins only upon mutual written agreement, whether by signed proposal, engagement letter, or service contract. Submitting an inquiry through this website, including the contact form, does not by itself create a client relationship or obligate either party to proceed.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for us to perform the agreed services, including access to relevant employment records, registers, and documentation.
Fees for our services are quoted separately per engagement and may be structured as fixed-fee, retainer, or hourly arrangements. Invoices are due within the period specified in the applicable engagement letter. Late payments may result in suspension of services until outstanding amounts are settled.
We treat all client information, including employee records, payroll data, and internal policies, as confidential. We will not disclose such information to third parties except as required by law, regulation, or with the client's prior written consent. Clients likewise agree to keep any proprietary materials, templates, or methodologies we provide confidential.
While we exercise professional care in delivering our services, LessLaplante Services does not guarantee any specific regulatory, legal, or business outcome. Our advice is based on the information provided by the client and the law as understood at the time of engagement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
All website content, including text, graphics, templates, and design elements, is the property of LessLaplante Services unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced or distributed without our prior written consent. Deliverables such as policy documents or reports created specifically for a client under a signed engagement become the client's property upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Either party may terminate an active engagement in accordance with the notice period specified in the relevant engagement letter. Fees for work performed up to the effective date of termination remain payable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Diego County, California, unless otherwise agreed in a specific engagement letter.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
